Africa
Burundi - partnering with Village Health Works to teach villagers on how to establish and maintain home gardens.Ethiopia - The Kossoye Project enables the spread of home vegetable gardens within the Kossoye community.Kenya - partnering with One Acre Fund to provide seed, fertilizer, financing, training, and harvest markets to small farmers.Rwanda - partnering with Indego Africa to provide skills training for Rwandan women.Swaziland - sponsoring the Young Heroes Education Fund to provide secondary school fees for orphan children.Tanzania - utilizing Amizade volunteers to install roof-top water harvesting systems; working with SIC to limit the impact of HIV/AIDS in rural communities.Uganda - training emergency care nurses with Global Emergency Care Collaborative.
