In Honduras, pregnancy related complications are the 4^th leading cause of death of women of reproductive age.  In order to reduce maternal mortality and contribute to infant survival, a grant of $10,000 has been provided to The Equilibrium Fund to initiate a reproductive health education project in Honduras. The program will provide 1-day reproductive health and family planning course for 500 families in 5 rural communities in the Culmi municipality.  Courses to be provided in partnership with Ministry of Health personnel.
